Construction Manager & Trainer, Zambia
Build It International is looking for an experienced construction manager (buildings) who is keen to share their expertise with young professionals in Zambia.
You will oversee our community buildings programme (schools and clinics), emphasising training and support for our site agents, to ensure the project is completed on time, to budget and to the required standard using our processes and procedures. We use these projects to train local people in basic construction skills and develop competent project managers.
We receive practical support from Gensler Architects, BuroHappold and Carillion – our buildings are well designed and built.
Key criteria for this position include:
i) Construction Operations experience
ii) Direct experience of all key aspects of project management
iii) A relevant professional qualification and technical competence
This is a voluntary post (all expenses covered), based in Lusaka from early 2018 for one year (negotiable).
