We have experienced and qualified board members and staff in the UK and Zambia and monitor our finances through our Finance and Audit Committee.
We have moved to a new financial year. Hence the last externally audited figures are for the 18 month period July 2011 to December 2012. This change brings our financial year in line with the project planning cycle and makes it easier to comply with Zambia statutory deadlines. The highlights are:
Total income at £1,081,652*
Total expenditure increased significantly to £1,154,699*
A balanced budget has been agreed for January to December 2013 and Build It International remains in sound financial health going forwards.
