Build IT International Governance
In the UK, Build IT International is a registered charity (No. 1115989) and a Company Limited by Guarantee (No 5495358) with it’s office in Shrewsbury.
In Zambia Build IT International is a registered as an international NGO, ref. ORS 102/35/3736 with it’s main office in Lusaka.
A Board of Trustees in both countries is appointed to oversee management of the organization all of whom are volunteers. They are responsible for developing policy and strategy, monitoring programme implementation, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws. The UK Board of Trustees meets 4 times per year and holds an annual strategy away day. The Zambia Board also meets four times a year and a Memorandum of Understanding guides the relationship between the boards.
