Working with Parry Associates, we have piloted ‘waffle’ flooring technology. This is a technique using the same hand powered machine as for Parry Roof Tiles but creating large hollow blocks that are laid next to each other – like a giant waffle. The gaps are filled in with concrete. A floor made this way is as strong as concrete slabs but uses 40% less material.
