International Women’s Day #Embrace Equity
On #internationalwomensday2023 we recognise the incredible role that women play throughout Build It International as we strive to deliver our mission of bringing life changing opportunities to young women and men #zambia.
Sexism and prejudice is rife in the construction sector in Zambia – just another challenge for the hundreds of young women who have completed our training-into-work programme and are making their careers happen in a tough sector. Their positive attitude and resilience will see them through (on top of loads of technical ability as #bricklayers #plasterers #tilers etc – over 400 trained so far)
