Research and learning

Research and learning

Research and learning help us ensure that our work responds to the real experiences of young people across Zambia’s construction sector.

By listening to young learners, employers, communities and partners, we deepen our understanding of the challenges they face and use those insights to improve opportunities and drive lasting change.

Strengthening skills through evidence

Research partners

Through collaboration with academic and research partners, we are helping to grow the evidence base around Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and employability.

Together we are exploring what really works in skills development, and how training can open doors to safer jobs, stronger livelihoods and brighter futures.

Our research

By producing high‑quality research and learnings from our own activities in the construction sector, we aim to contribute to national conversations and help shape a TVET system where every learner can work, grow and thrive.

Our research supports not only our own programmes but the wider sector too - driving positive change, raising standards, and opening up better opportunities for young people building their futures in construction.
