Chair of Zambia Board
Lucie began her career as the first Zambian female civil engineer. She has worked widely in the construction sector including on projects for CARE International. Lucie has also worked as a commission member of the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ), and continues to lead on the ECZ National Conflict Management Committee as well as on family health programmes for Rotary International. Lucie is a Trustee on the UK Board.

Florence has over a decade of experience in fundraising for international development organisations. Florence is currently Senior Manager, Programmes and Partnerships at Malaria No More UK.
Judith Kafwembe

Treasurer of Zambia Board
Judith is Chief of Staff at KPMG Zambia with experience in accounting, administrative duty and strategic operations. Judith has worked in both the UK and Zambia, notably in Developmental and Rehabilitation projects. Judith has a passion for driving positive change and empowering teams to succeed.

Jemini is a qualified accountant with over 20 years of experience within the international development and corporate sectors. Jemini has held senior leadership roles at Pestalozzi International and Legal & General Group Plc, providing strong oversight in financial stewardship, risk management, and governance. Jemini is deeply committed to advancing social impact and empowering the next generation to build sustainable and successful livelihoods.
Nkhonde Fumbeshi

Nkhonde is a lawyer, entrepreneur, and governance leader who combines legal insight with entrepreneurial vision. With experience in board strategy, ESG, and fiduciary responsibility, Nkhonde has successfully built businesses and created platforms across media, property, advisory and social impact sectors, offering boards practical leadership for accountability, innovation, and long-term impact.

Chris James

UK Board Member
Chris is a chartered construction professional. Chris’s early career was spent with Tarmac, managing construction projects in the transport and secure accommodation sectors. Chris is also experienced in construction training.
Neil MacDougall

Neil MacDougall

Deputy Chair of UK Board
Neil was born in Monze, in Southwestern Zambia. He later moved to Malawi and then Kenya before arriving in the UK. Neil's career has been in private company investment. He chaired the BVCA and is a director of the UKBAA. Neil returns to Africa when he can and often brings his family along too.

Francis is a civil engineer with 30 years experience, most recently as Deputy Director of the National Construction Council. Francis is also the Zambia representative for the World Skills Council.

UK Board Member
Toy is a chartered psychologist, executive and team coach with a special interest in leadership and authenticity. She has been supporting organisations through culture, relational, and governance dynamics for two decades. Toy is the author of ‘The Driving Dynamic, Board Performance and Role’ in Dynamics at Boardroom Level'.
Wilson Sumaili

Wilson Sumaili

Zambia Board Member
Wilson has enjoyed a career in senior management in vocational skills training including running a Trades School in Zambia. On ‘retiring’ Wilson was the senior administrator for the Anglican Church in Zambia until 2017.
Clara Theu-Silubonde

Zambia Board Member
Clara is a seasoned HR professional with over 10 years experience in policy development, compliance and organisational growth. She is a Fellow of the Zambia Institute of Human Resources Management. As a trustee, Clara provides strategic leadership and promotes inclusive, sustainable development through people-centred governance.
