It is with a heavy heart that I share the sad news that Stephen passed away suddenly on 29 August 2022. He was a close friend from university days, and Build It’s first ever supporter. It’s no exaggeration to say that without his early involvement, Build It may never have got going.

Stephen remained a hugely generous supporter throughout the past 15 years. He was an active member of our Development Board, sponsor of our annual Walbrook dinner and twice visited Zambia. In short, he played a big part in the Build It story.

Although a very busy person, Steve was always interested in the challenges we faced and found the time to help me think them through – often late into the night!

In due course, we will mark his contribution in an appropriate way. For the moment, we share our sincere condolences with his family.
