Our 2017 community school projects, at Bissell and Katole, have been progressing rapidly over the summer!

Supported by our fantastic partner, BGL, construction at Bissell Community School is progressing really well. Under the supervision of one of our experienced contractors, the trainees are making fantastic progress. Having completed their basic training they have laid the foundations and cast the concrete slab upon which the building sits – this is a critical part of the construction. They are now starting the blockwork and we hope to have the building completed in time for the new school year in late January.

Katole Community School is also now under way. The trainees have completed their Basic Skills and Life Skills courses and are now starting on the foundations. We now expect to progress quickly and the school will be ready to hand over to the community early in the New Year.
