Our Young Professionals Board was excited to hold a fundraising bowling event for Build It on 30 June 2022.
They shared a few words on how the event had gone:
“Our first YPB in-person event was a huge success!
Last Thursday, the YPB welcomed 30 friends for a game of bowling and a Zambia quiz at Rowans Bowling in Finsbury Park.
The fundraising event raised over £200 for our project at Zambezi Sawmills Community School, and has supported Build It in broadening its support among young professionals.

The Young Professionals Board is a vibrant and enthusiastic group of young people at the early stages of career development. They are keen to make a meaningful difference in support of Build It. Find out more here.
Money raised from the event will go to support Build It’s project at Zambezi Sawmills Community School. It is a thriving school in Livingstone and with over 750 pupils, it is in desperate need of more classrooms.
Work will start shortly on construction of four new classrooms, including a computer room, plus a new toilet block.
23 young people from the local community have been recruited and will train with us on this project. They will gain new skills and valuable work experience to help them find work.
