Build It Head of Finance announced as new chair of CIMA West Midlands Area Board

Build It International is proud to announce that its Head of Finance and Deputy CEO Mr John Hindson FCMA, CGMA has been elected as chair of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) West Midlands Area Board.

Mr Hindson, who has been involved with CIMA in the Midlands for 14 years, has been elected to the role for a two-year term of office by fellow CIMA members.

Mr Hindson has been a member of CIMA for over 35 years holding senior finance roles in manufacturing and engineering companies across a range of industries. He has a passion for helping people to develop to their full potential and this is seen is his CIMA and professional roles.

“I was honoured and delighted to be elected by my CIMA peers to the prestigious role of chairman of CIMA West Midlands, particularly in this centenary year for CIMA.”  said Mr Hindson.

“As chairman, I look forward to embracing and celebrating both 100 years of CIMA and contributing to bringing CIMA’s ‘Future of Finance’ initiative into the Midlands. The pace and scale of change the business world and the profession faces is exciting and it is good to see CIMA leading research into what the future of management accounting looks like .”

“We look to actively engage with members and students, particularly through networking and continuing professional development, to help them feel supported and part of a community.”
