In the months following graduation Build It International will continue to assist the trainees by providing personal development support to help them to secure work in Zambia’s growing construction sector.

The post-graduation activities include: getting introductions to potential employers, CV writing workshops, preparing for interviews and entrepreneurship training and co-operative development.

Providing young men and women with these skills can transform lives. An independent impact study in 2015 found that 83% of Build It graduates had secured a job in construction and the average income of our graduates had increased by 200% compared to their income before training. This increased income enables graduates to provide for their families and pay for their children’s education.

We will post more news about our Hope trainees when the exam results are published.
