On #InternationalWomensDay2023 we recognise the incredible role that women play throughout Build It International as we strive to deliver our mission of bringing life changing opportunities to young women and men in Zambia.
Sexism and prejudice is rife in the construction sector in Zambia – just another challenge for the hundreds of young women who have completed our Training into Work programme and are making their careers happen in a tough sector. On top of their technical ability as bricklayer, plasters, tiles etc – their positive attitude and resilience will see them through. We have trained over 400 women so far.
