Today marks the final day of my placement year at Build It International.

It has been a fantastic journey for me, and I leave with a variety of new skills and experiences.

I am so grateful to the Build It team for making my introduction into the not-for-profit sector so informative and enjoyable.

I have much better awareness of some of the challenges and complexities faced by international development charities which has made me admire even more the hard work and determination of all those involved.

Build It’s mission is one I will continue to support as I go into my final year at university. I look forward to hearing more success stories about their skills-training programme and community building projects.
