Celebrating impact: Our win at Zambia CSR and Sustainability Awards 2025

We are delighted to have been recognised at the 6th CSR and Sustainability Awards, winning the 2025 Corporate Social Responsibility Award for Best Community Impact – Youth Empowerment.

Organised by CSR Network Zambia, this annual conference and awards look to increase understanding of corporate responsibility across the country, celebrate innovative CSR best practices and build partnerships.

Winning this award is an incredible honour. We are committed to supporting young people with the skills and opportunities they need to work and thrive. Our work is driven by the belief that youth empowerment leads to stronger, more equitable communities.

The 2025 theme ‘Driving Sustainable Impacts Through Innovation’ย aligns with our mission to create real, lasting change for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Build It Country Director Chilufya Kasutu expressed our gratitude for the recognition:

“Itโ€™s a fantastic opportunity to showcase our work among peers, and to get this level of recognition. Itโ€™s a chance to strengthen partnerships with corporate organisations, working together to amplify our collective impact.”
