Thank you to everyone who took part in our recent Star Jump challenge raising £850 for our Safe Hands appeal.

Set by our Young Professionals Board (YPB), the challenge ran on social media throughout November.

Beth Vuckovic is a member of the Board and explained what they hoped to achieve:

‘The Coronavirus pandemic has posed significant challenges for people across the world. The YPB recognised this, and together we wanted to make a contribution to Build It’s Safe Hands appeal.

We launched the Star Jump challenge with the aim of raising £1800, the cost of building a group hand wash station in a school.

The challenge has been a big learning curve (and a good fitness test!) for us, but more importantly, it has been an amazing way for us to increase awareness of the fantastic work that Build It do. We are so grateful to all who took part.”

Our thanks to the YPB for setting up the challenge, and to everyone who has joined in. It has been fantastic to see people really get behind the challenge, and all the great photos posted!
