It was fantastic to celebrate the graduation of our first group of 2019 trainees at our Centre for Excellence on 2 December.

Trainees across Bricklaying, Painting, Plastering and Rough Carpentry celebrated the successful completion of their training and work placements.

The vast majority of our trainees are between 18 and 35 years old. We look to train young people who didn’t have the chance to have a full education, and with a genuine interest and desire to learn new skills. It was a joyful event recognising their hard-work and commitment.

We were delighted to welcome Ambassador of Ireland to Zambia Séamus O’Grady and Embassy staff. Support from Embassy of Ireland in Zambia has enable us to continue expanding the number of young people we can train.
