Build It fundraiser, Nathan Still, has committed to running over 1,000 miles to fundraise for the Kabaka community in Zambia.
Nathan was part of a group of 20 BGL employees who travelled to Zambia in May to see the school they funded. Thanks to the incredible fundraising skills of Nathan and his colleagues, we were able to work with the people of Kabaka to build a new school, teacher’s house and latrines.

On returning to the UK, Nathan wanted to continue to support the Kabaka community and, in particular, a volunteer teacher he met called Benson.

“After coming back from Zambia, the team decided to support Benson by putting him through college to gain his teaching qualifications… It’s a privilege to carry on the work for the school and Benson”

Nathan has joined the online running group 1095miles.com. The aim of the challenge is to run at least 3 miles a day, every day for a year, no excuses and no days off! The group was set-up in 2009 and so far only 10 people have managed to complete it.
