64 trainees sat the TEVETA bricklaying exam in December and we are very proud that 62 passed – giving an overall pass rate of 97% for 2014.

Those who passed will receive their tool kits and certificates of completion at graduation ceremonies that will be held later in the coming months. The training programme gives young men and women the skills they need to earn a living and provide for their families. The 62 graduates, including Norbert and Charity, have now entered Phase 2 of our Training into Work programme and will take part in activities and workshops that will further increase their ability to secure work.

The post-training activities include: getting introductions to potential employers, CV writing workshops, preparing for interviews and entrepreneurship training.
