Last month, Build It’s Young Professionals Board celebrated Christmas with their second annual bowling event, held at Rowans Tenpin Bowl, London.

All proceeds were in aid of the Mwachisompola Primary School project, based in a rural settlement north of Zambia’s capital Lusaka.

The evening saw six teams and over 30 like-minded young professionals engaged in friendly competition, and a hotly participated in a Zambian-themed quiz – raising almost £250 to support Build It in constructing a new four-classroom block.

This initiative will allow the school to expand its capacity to teach up to Grade 8 and will be transformational for the local community, whilst also allowing young Zambians to be trained to gain a construction qualification.
