Chilanga Cement supports Build It’s skills & schools projects

Build It is proud to announce a new collaboration with Chilanga Cement Plc, who have generously committed to supplying discounted Mphamvu cement to support our work in Zambia.

This contribution will directly benefit our 2025 school building projects at Malundu School and Miswa School, both in Chisamba District. It will also support young trainees learning at our Centre for Excellence – our construction training centre at Ten Miles, Lusaka, where young people receive hands-on, industry-relevant training.

Corporate Affairs and Communications Manager for Chilanga Cement Plc, Gift Danga shared:

“We recognise and appreciate the valuable work Build It International continues to do in empowering underprivileged young people and their communities through essential skills development and infrastructure projects. We are proud to support the 2025 projects with a special discount on cement, as we build tomorrow, today.”

Build It’s Business Development Manager Clayton Kachamba added:

“We are delighted to receive this generous support from Chilanga Cement. Collaborations like this have a real impact. This will contribute to our training programme for young men and women pursuing careers in construction, and help us in creating new, safe learning environments for children in two rural communities.”

Through the partnership with Chilanga Cement Plc, we have recently secured 300 bags of cement at a discounted rate for our project at Malundu School. It will support us in building new classrooms, pupil latrines, and teacher latrines for this growing rural school.
