We are delighted to announce that our work at Light of Hope School down in Livingstone has started. COVID-19 has delayed the build, but the ground has now been marked out and foundations are being dug for the new classrooms, latrines and teacher’s accommodation.
The new facilities will make a huge difference to the education of the children at this school.

Due to COVID-19, we have had to make some adjustments to how we implement the training element of this project.
No new trainees will be attached to this project to minimise possible transmission of COVID-19; instead a smaller team of more experienced Build It graduates have been contracted to deliver the work.
This approach will provide these promising graduates with advanced skills, and give them the opportunity to become more experienced in self-managing projects effectively.
